PhotoPaper

This NEW premium traditional photo paper features a silver metallic emulsion that adds brilliance & depth to photo prints.

Water Color Paper

Acid-free, single-side coated with 50% rag. This media shows a natural white finish with a slightly-structured, soft-textured surface matte. This high-quality mould-made paper is ideal for digital fine art reproductions.

Canvas Matte

A 17.5 mil inkjet coated stretchable canvas with a matte surface finish. A special ink receptive coating makes the media-resistant and protects the surface from cracking. Images are brilliant and well saturated, making this canvas an ideal media for fine art reproduction.

Stretched & Mounted
When we refer to a "stretched" or "stretched and mounted" print, we are referring to a canvas print in which the canvas is secured to a wooden framework called stretcher strips. The advantage to stretching a print is that it adds support to the canvas so that it will not buckle or bend. It also prevents accidental creasing when handling.

When the print is stretched the canvas is secured using heavy duty staples on the side. This is the standard for most stretching and mounting of canvas prints.

Hard back Mounting
"3/16” Gatorboard mounting is available on all print sizes and paper choices except 5x7. Gatorboard will increase the durability of your print.

Protective Coatings
A protective surface laminate that COMPLETELY SEALS, waterproofs, & protects print(s) from UV rays.

Giclee Limited Edition Prints

What is a Giclée Print?
Giclée is a French word loosely meaning sprayed. It has become the accepted term for the type of print that is being produced on state-of-the-art inkjet printers, which create the image by depositing millions of infinitesimally small droplets of ink on a substrate of paper, canvas, film, etc. The resulting print is nearly continuous in tone, with individual droplets of ink only barely visible even with a magnifying glass. The best giclée prints are being printed using lightfast water-based pigmented inks (rather than the non-lightfast dye-based ones used in inexpensive desktop inkjet printers). They are also printed on archival substrates, and are generally given an additional "print-seal" coating to help protect them from dust and moisture. Like any other work on paper, giclée prints should be framed under glass or sheet acrylic using archival mats and backing boards, and should not be hung where they will be exposed to strong light or direct sunlight.

Reputable giclée printmakers are continually subjecting specific substrate/ink combinations to rigorous tests for longevity by Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc. and other independent testing laboratories. The printers we use, with the specific ink/paper combination used guarantees you a print that will last approximately 100 years, assuming archival framing, and optimal display conditions.

The computer is just another tool for the artist, like a brush or a pen. What makes art art is the artist's vision and passion for the work, not the medium or the tools used to create the final product. .You can feel comfortable purchasing these giclée prints. We take the same care in creating them as we do in creating works in any other medium we work with.

Most fine art print editions are limited to 100 prints or less, and come with a Certificate of Authenticity from the printer that lists the print title, how many total prints are in the edition, which number the particular print you have is (expressed as a fraction: 1/50, meaning your print is number one of a total of fifty), and how many artist's proofs there are (typically these will be no more than 10% of the total edition). Authentic print editions or one-of-a-kind prints (monoprints) are not copies of an existing artwork. They are created to be original prints. An exact copy of an existing original work of art that is reproduced in multiples is considered a reproduction rather than a fine art print. These reproductions should never be numbered as original prints are.

Captures the look and feel of original hand-painted art. Use of this textured, natural-colored, high-gloss printing material creates professional-quality reproductions of fine art paintings and photographs.

Giclee prices include a protective surface laminate that COMPLETELY SEALS, waterproofs, & protects print(s) from UV rays
